The ID-70 SMG was a development by IzinDuna to provide a light-weight, close-quarters weapon for the Belt export market.
It used standard fleet 7mm rifle ammunition locally produced by IzinDuna.
The weapon comes with "Short" magazines of 20 rounds or "Long" magazines of 40 rounds.
