The HSE-2xxx series M-Drive was developed in parallel to their, then standard, HSE-1xxx series M-Drive.

History

Helena Space Engineering created the HSE-1xxx series M-Drive using new technologies available to leverage a niche in the market. The type was successful and the company became established. The related HSE-2xxx series M-Drive series were specialist high-performance racing drives used to trial tweaks and modifications and the successes in this field allowed the company to produce the now famous HSE-3xxx M-Drive series
