CitizenArms is a belt company that saw a gap in the arms market - creating a small, light and recoil-free rocket launcher that can be operated like a pistol. Once it was recognised that this principal was effective they moved on to building an equivalent weapon for Military use - The S-18 accelerator rifle was born.

This weapon fires 12mm rockets that accelerate at very high-G towards the target. While this means that the first metre of range is marginally less effective than at more distant ranges, the zero-recoil does make using the weapon more practical that standard guns in micro-g environments. As such, this became the weapon of choice for Belter Boarding Troops.

This weapon is significantly more accurate than it ‘s pistol ancestor, but is equally affected by the quality of munitions manufacture, and barrel erosion from exhaust gasses. Capacitor life in the firing mechanism has been much improved in the last decade, but proper maintenance is needed.
