| 2 dTon | 3m x 3m x 3m | Cr 800 |

Each container is fitted with standard cargo fixings to allow stacking and lifting using standard mechanisms.
Variants of each class exist for vacuum transport and for carriage for liquids, powders and live creatures. Some containers consist of nothing but the framework with no solid sides at all.
The critical item of note is that the external dimensions are standard. The volume carried will vary according to requirements such as cargo temperature and pressure limits.
Those providing non-ambient conditions will require power, and a standard power and monitoring interface is provided using the FLT-48: Three-phase plug.

These cargo containers are used not only for cargo transport, but for office space, living space, shops, stables, storage or delivery of powerplants and computing power to specific sites. This drain has seen an ongoing need for new shipping containers to be manufactured periodically over the last 300 years.
There are several military field-hospitals that are made up of nothing but containers and inter-container tents.
