Campaign:NHNE/Corporations/Black Rock Mining Corporation
One of the larger surveying companies in the Belt.
Description[edit]
Operating for nearly 150 years (Founded in year 156), the Black Rock Mining Corporation is one of the premier surveying operations in the Belt.
History[edit]
Founded in year 156 by a prospector who struck it rich, the Black Rock Mining Corporation has surveyed between 10 and 100 rocks each year making an impressive 7,500 surveys and nearly 90 major claims as a result.
The company has had a long-term hostile relationship with the Dark Star Group which culminated in a corporate war that sputtered, on and off, for over a decade before a truce was called in the 290s. That the corporation survived such a battle was considered an outstanding achievement for its then chairman, the great-great-great grandchild of the founder.
Facilities[edit]
The Black Rock Mining Corporation's headquarters are on New Montana but ships can be found throughout the belt, and (occasionally) even in orbit about the larger worlds and their moons.
