Bureau for Interstellar Affairs

An early agency of the Imperial Bureaucracy, later absorbed

Ostensibly an Imperial publicity and information dissemination agency, a significant proportion of its resources were diverted to intelligence gathering, psychological operations and other covert activities on the Emperor's behalf.

The Third Undersecretary of the BIA answered directly to the Emperor.

The BIA was closely associated with members of the Noble Society The Loyal Association of Pages.
