Blaskon Region of Interest

An unofficial administrative and cultural region of the Hive Federation.

The Blaskon Region of Interest contains systems in the eponymous Blaskon Sector, the Nooq Sector, plus the coreward ends of Folgore and Avereguar. It is a region less 'pacified' than the Central Zone with occasional unrest on Federation member worlds.

Hiver ships routinely cross the region's trailing border into neutral systems. Survey ships look for resources in unclaimed systems, and follow-up missions exploit them; meanwhile, any local race or nation that might resist future K'kree expansion is 'hardened' by providing technological uplift and guidance.

Hive Federation naval vessels operate in the region. It is unclear how many are outside the Federation's borders at any given time, which serves the Hivers' interests.
