History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Yustetya is listed as barren and uninhabited in the star charts but this is a lie encouraged by the Aslan Hierate. Around a million people who are physically Aslan live here, in large villages located wherever there is water, concentrated in a region of the southern hemisphere. They are happy with their mature TL-1 society and show none of the expected aggression and conflict so common to other Aslan. They are even vegetarian, using a variety of fungi and high-protein pulses to replace meat, and they seem happy with this.
It appears that the Yustetya are telepaths. Psionics of any kind is all but unknown in Aslan, and these people are an abomination to be feared in the eyes of the Hierate -- mostly because if Aslan could become Yustyeans, then it could happen again to others.
