Geerphli Sector lies at the edge of the Orion OB1 Association. There are four "Major Orion Worlds" in the sector: Rigel (Geerphli 2733) (inside the Orion OB1 Association at the star Rigel), and 10 G. Orionis (Geerphli 0915), W Orionis (Geerphli 1415) and 140 G. Orionis (Geerphli 3101) which lie outside the Association).
