Eao is a nonindustrial water world, which has 90% or more of its surface covered in an ocean of water.
- The inhabitants of this world live on the roughly 10% of exposed land mass, in underwater colonies, on city ships, or similar arrangements.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- This world is part of the Aslan Hierate, as a world where multiple clans have split control of the planet, in the Trawo Subsector of Riftspan Reaches Sector.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)
Refuelling stations orbit all four of the system’s gas giants. Two of the outsystem worlds also have small installations that service the vessels of clans who have no friends on the mainworld.
History & Background (Dossier)
Part of the J-5 Trans-Rift Hierate Route.
Several Aslan clans have holdings on the mainworld, although long-standing treaties limit the number of personnel each can have. Most clans have found inventive ways to bend these rules, leading to the occasional challenge and skirmishing.
