Cargonaut Press was founded by Paul Sanders 2000 to publish the "Lost Supplements" written and illustrated by the Keith Brothers.

In August 2005, Paul shut down the Cargonaut website, announcing his retirement from Traveller and gaming. In February of 2015 Paul transferred his copyrights to all Cargonaut Press properties to Marc Miller for an undisclosed sum.
