  • Carrier Squadron 21: 3-4 Fleet Carriers
  • Scout Squadron 21: 12 Heavy Frigates
  • Destroyer Squadron 21: 32 Destroyers
  • Logistics Squadron 21: 8-12 Replenishment ships. These ships work in relays, hauling supplies to the Task Force from nearby bases.
  • Fuel Squadron 21: 16 Duke class Jump tankers (AO-JB).
