Vengeance class Commerce Raider

Using a 400 tonne hull, the Vengeance class is a small, fast warship designed for predatory commerce raiding. The ship carries a Powerplant X, giving the ship Jump 3 and Manoeuvre 3G. There is fuel tankage for 60 tonnes, giving one Jump 3 and allowing the use of the powerplant, with around 10 tonnes as a reserve. The standard bridge has a Model/6 computer installed. There are 6 single crew cabins and 2 double crew cabins. The ship carries 4 turrets, with fire control, mechanics and weapons included. These are usually a combination of lasers, particle accelerators, and missile racks. A launch is carried in a boat garage beneath the hold. A cargo hold of 80 tonnes is included. The ship is streamlined, having a hull configuration in the shape of a broad triangle, with a flattened ventral plane and a transom stern, featuring 3 small triangular fins. The Vengeance class requires a crew of 12; commander, pilot, medic, engineer, navigator, steward and four gunners. The Vengeance class costs MCR143.75 and takes 15 standard months to build.
