A variety of very low-tech armour, bio-material armour consists of a cured bio-matter coat, faced with tiles or plates of hardened bio-matter. The coat is fitted with shoulder plates and groin guard of hardened bio-matter. The armour coat is worn with leggings, shin guards and boots, all made from cured skin, membrane or plant fibre, with pieces of bone, horn or exo-skeleton. Bio-matter armour costs around Cr50 but is often home-made.
