A Solorb is a portable light generating device capable of illuminating a kilometer radius with bright, sunlike light.
The solorb is intending for use in under ground or on dark planets. It also has combat applications for night fighting, use in illuminating a target area or neutralizing and/or blinding night sight equipped high tech troops.
There is also a contragravity equipped version (TL–12, Cr600) available.
