Core Expedition/secret

In -4218 the Zhodani discovered a cavern 1.5 Km below the ancient Zhdant City site. In this cavern was a starmap projector which displayed a 30 pc diameter corridor of stars stretching 8000 pc towards the galactic core. in -4034 this novelty device was changed to a state secret when it was discovered to have predicted the -4074 misjump of the Lienjqiets (which became apparent when it limped home 40 years later). The first expedition to explore this area left in -4006 as the first Core Expedition. The Zhodani have used the precongnitive ability of the starmap projector to assist them in avoiding/dealing with races encountered along the core expedition route.
