Spas, subsector B of Fornast has 31 worlds, of which 23 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 494 million sophonts (not necessarily humans). There are no High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 21 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. There are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus six Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, and four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds. There are no Rich (Ri) worlds versus no Industrial (In) worlds. There is one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, three Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, four Poor (Po) worlds, five Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world. There are three Naval bases in the subsector, no Scout bases, and no Way stations. The Imperial nobility includes 29 Knights, seven Baronets, four Barons, one Marquis, two Viscounts, no Counts, and no Dukes. The highest population world is Sukuva (Fornast 1609). The highest tech level is F at Plomber (Fornast 0906). The average technology level is 9 (with most between 6 and 11).

The Third Imperium, Domain of Sol in Spas has jurisdiction over all of the worlds. The subsector capital is Valenkish (Fornast 0903).
