Akanarzh

A dish, beloved of the Vargr peoples; Akanarzh is a raw, fermented meat-loaf-like dish.

Description (Specifications)

The dish is made from finely chopped meat, which is mixed with a carbohydrate base, spice-pods, and seasonings. The meat is packed into a rectangular dish, lined with aromatic leaves, covered with more leaves, weighted, and left to ferment for thirty days or so.

• After this time, the meat is unwrapped, cut into thick slices and either flash-fried, lightly grilled, or served cold.
