The Freedonian Consumer Institute is pleased to present to the public its Product Research Division's report on equipment and accessories. Through extensive testing covering a two year period, the FCI has compiled this list of commonly available items. All products were purchased from merchants at retail prices and no donations of items were accepted from manufacturers to insure the consumer of an unbiased report. At least three items of each type were tested for comparison and some manufacturers from which they can be purchased are listed in the referee's section in the back of this report. Future reports from the Product Research Division will describe less common items available for specialty purposes.
