Fuu, (pronounced FUH-uh)+ A577659-9 Ag Ni Ri, is a gem located near the center of Ourdzoeg subsector of Knoellighz Sector. It is valued for its Agricultural and Rich Trade Codes and is the most abundant producer of foods to the Vargr markets of the region. The closest other, Agricultural worlds are Ouullogoeode (Knoellighz 2209) in Rourukhae subsector, Vuenrrong (Knoellighz 2712), Ikougagh (Dhuerrorg 0209) and Arrgath and Thuaen (Ghoekhnael 2840 and 3040 respectively).

  • Having captured not one but two white dwarf stars, the mainworld has very little nighttime. Instead there is a dimness that nears twilight or pre-dawn where the night sky is colored with blue and violet of the lights of the dwarfs. While dark enough for the flora of the planet to produce oxygen from photosynthesis, the rest of the diurnal period is day. Visitors are often perturbed by the lack of a full sky of stars at ‘dimtime’.
  • Settled with TL 12 facilities and gravitic logistics, there are very little paved roads beyond the outskirts of the A Downport and Startown. This was a mandate from the settlers’ benefactors, Thaeghz Hvaek Engnigharr (tr: Pack Pact to Success), T.H.E. Corp or [THE] in market systems nets.
  • Though the settlers quickly spread out to demarcate farming, ranching, fishing industries, the world became further factionalized by the discovery of rich mining deposits that greatly added to the planet’s value beyond the initial survey. This in turn brought more investment from Thaeghz Hvaek Engnigharr. Per the corporation’s charter, radioactive and other hazardous ores must be shipped to the corporate headquarters to be refined there. This makes the source sell at reduced prices and raises overhead and puts the majority of the payout in the hands of the corporation. To balance this, the factions planetside have adjusted the food prices accordingly.
  • Fuu sits on the Coreward border of the Democracy of Greats with only corporate security vessels to protect it. Some defensive assets remain in orbit, controlled from the Downport Authority.
  • In order to preserve its original colony subsidiary charter, Fuu has raised its Law rating to 9, prohibiting weapons outside the home. Its inhabitants still conduct Infighting and Charisma duels when negotiation fails to resolve issues. Illegal gang conflicts tend to modify industry tools as weapons when events become bloody. Factions across the Balkanized governments are split by industry, (e.g. Fishers, Ranchers, Farmers, Miners, Refiners, etc.). The Downport is guaranteed neutral territory where all the factions’ Emissaries meet to address situations and issues. There is one thing that all factions can agree upon here on Fuu. Their world is a prime target to starve the entire subsector of food resources. With this realization came the pact to unite should the entire mainworld come under threat from outworlders.
  • The system features five Gas Giants and Thaeghz Hvaek Engnigharr erects beacons to tankers waiting to refuel ships declaring that they are behind on their schedules. All others are welcome to skim for fuel as needed. Gas Giant characteristics are available for download from these beacons at a modest fee.
  • Strangely and neatly separating each of Fuu’s Gas Giants are three planetoid rings that yield a modest amount of ores to in-system craft who then trade the raw finds to Thaeghz Hvaek Engnigharr corporate haulers, often without declaring the finds and thus evading taxation. This is yet another reason for the mainworld’s Law rating of 9.
  • Fuu is also home to a wide variety of extreme speed sports, recreational vehicle sports (off-road terrain, sailing, etc.) and draws a crowd to each annual event. Bragging rights, Charisma and logistics contracts are prizes sought by those who can safely get small cargoes from point A to B.
  • Though mining and simple refining operations and plants aggravate the conditions, naturally discharged gasses from undersea volcanoes and tectonic rifts have Tainted the Standard atmosphere of Fuu. This requires the most minimal of breathing filters provided gratis to all citizens with working permits from Thaeghz Hvaek Engnigharr. All other visitors and tourists must purchase theirs at the Downport or Startown for a small price.
  • Another prized asset coming from Thaeghz Hvaek Engnigharr after the successful colonization, settlement and first-year yields of food and minerals was the landing of a pre-made, mobile and modular A Starport which enriched the welcoming transports, tramp traders, and tourism to Fuu.
  • During Hard Times, Fuu rides the wave smoothly despite the smallish labor strikes, factionalism and export drop-off as fewer merchantman vessels arrive with lessening frequency. Food is abundant though Tech Levels drop slightly when shipments from Thaeghz Hvaek Engnigharr become fewer and further between. Locals must resort to ground vehicles, watercraft and harvesters during this time. Tourism is hit the worst during Hard Times as diversions and recreations lose funding and all concentrate on survival.
  • Into the Virus Era, Thaeghz Hvaek Engnigharr analysts predicted the need to modularize the A Starport by making the individual buildings mobile on great, tracked platforms. Upon the arrival of Vampire fleets, the A Starport modules separated and kept on the move even though the original landing site was vaporized by bombardment. Just after quarantine protocols arrive in Ourdzoeg, Fuu re-erects its Starport though it is somewhat reduced to B rating. The Startown is slower to develop in light of Virus technophobia across the bickering factions.

Zowie is a nonindustrial world, that requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.

  • In a technological universe, societies without industrial capability generally suffer as nearly all manufactured and high tech goods must be brought in at significant cost.
  • As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
  • It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Arar Subsector of Massilia Sector in the Domain of Sylea.
