Author’s Note[edit]

The creation of the Naval Special Landing Force was non-canon and it attempted to resolve the issue presented in the conflicting canon vs what later became non-canon in the classic traveller universe regarding Zhodani Marines or Army troops as “Ship’s Troops”. I drew inspiration form the Imperial Japanese Navy Special Naval Landing Force of the 2nd World War. Not wanting to mirror the Imperial Marines, it was the author’s opinion the conception of the ZNSLF filed the niche without creating another cliche.[1]
