An elusive animal native to Khii Isis. Also known as the 'sandlion', it is a 100 kilogram four-legged predator, which indeed somewhat resembles a Terran lion in form but with similarities also to an armadillo. The carapace provides this stealthy animal with camouflage, making it difficult to find. The dunvic is sometimes hunted for sport by offworlders, but hunters must take care not to be hunted in turn.
