Biography

Born on Zydar (Beyond 0630), then known as Tirost, Zymiron Argabenton came to prominence during that world's Third World War (926-930). Claiming to be a reincarnated Ancient with two souls - one human and one Ancient - and lost Ancient knowledge, in 930 Argabenton renamed himself Zydar and announced himself Duality Prophet of a new religion.

In the years leading to 935, Zydar, together with his Band of Disciples and his followers in all of Tirost's then-existing nations, carried out the Great Realignment, a global revolution that began in peaceful protests and ended in as much human misery as the world's two last great wars. Zydar then withdrew the world from the Corellan League (saying it had been no help during the wars), humbly renamed the world "Zydar" after himself, and established the Zydarian Codominium, a theocracy with himself as ruler and object of worship.

Zydar was last seen in public in 1065, on the celebration of his 200th birthday, and since then his edicts have been revealed by his Apostles. It is an axiom of faith that Zydar is immortal and unchanging, and the mere suggestion that he may be indisposed, much less deceased, constitutes heresy and is prosecutable.

Zydarians questioned on the subject by outsiders point out that faking appearances of an 'immortal' individual is a simple matter for contemporary technology, and therefore the lack of physical evidence of his continuing existence constitutes proof that he is alive and well in spiritual retreat. For some reason, outsiders do not find this logic compelling.
