A slug-like herd animal, originally from Thengo (Spinward Marches 0202). The igsh has slick, grey-green skin, and a thick neck with no head. The tip is thick and rounded, entirely featureless, other than a dangling 'beard' of slate grey bristles, and a small, sphincter-like mouth.

The meat of the igsh, called 'fol' is pale orange, fine-textured and perfumed, reminiscent of both veal and goose breast.
