The ''Long Trader'' or ''Deep Trader'' is another, rarer, variant of a [[free trader]]. Built for areas of low [[stellar density]], deep traders are either jump-3 capable (a.k.a. "''[[Fast Trader]]s''"), or are jump-2 capable with extended fuel range for multiple jumps. The [[Craft Type Code]] assigned to this class is A3 (or occasionally in the latter case, A22).
