Though referred to as a worm, this tortoise-sized creature is characterized by a special bony shell grown from its mouth which acts as its shield. Residing in this maw is a collection of worms whose purpose is to bring scavenged food to the creature.

Travellers' Aid Society Advisory[edit]
Encountered along the Solomani Confederation and Hive Fenderation borders by the crew of the S. S. Tubantia (ca. 5590). There were no survivors.
The psionic kill shout comes from the shell (could be a brain of some kind there). It's not yet understood how the worms are related to it.
