Calobrur is a desert world with no free-standing water. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Remnants Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Calobrur, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships. During the Long Night this world was named Shaarki Gak.
Astrography and planetology
This world is a planetary oddity, it possesses an extremely dense metallic core with a relatively high gravitational field. This, along with the cool temperatures, allow Calobrur to maintain an atmosphere classified as 'standard', even if it on the thin side of standard.
Despite the atmosphere there are virtually no free standing bodies of water. Much of the planet is a dry, barren wasteland.
History and background
There are small regions of Calobrur that have plenty of water in large subterranean complexes. Around these underground oases are the major population centers, in the form of small village-farms.
