On an unnamed planet Shiazhanche 0532 XAAA000-0, The Zhodani Core Expeditions discovered something terrible.  Something the ancient core projection artifacts at home did not foresee.  The found a creature and artifacts which date back to the age of the primordials.  The planet is a dark world with thick unbreathable carbon dioxide clouds.  There is an endless deep sea of slimy, viscous, phosphorescent red hydrocarbon liquid.  Floating fragments of unthinkably massive, fossilized abominations serve as islands.  The black city sized Temple Barge of the Worm Sibyls rules this world.  She is the queen of a vast telepathic hive mind which quickly dominated and enslaved the first visitors.
