The ''Gravitic Drive'' is a less efficient version of the [[M-Drive]]. Usually powered by an integral [[Fusion+]], it does not require a separate [[Power Plant]]. {{Page cite|name= T5 Core Rules|page=323|citeName=T5-323}}

G-Drives are governed by the 10D limit, and are best suited to operation near worlds (or near stars). Beyond the 10D limit, G-Drives operate at 1% efficiency.{{Page cite|citeName=T5-323}}

ContraGravity drives are not generally put to use as primary maneuver drives, as they are not meaningfully useful outside of a gravity well. Their primary use is [[Gravcraft]]. By 10 diameters out from a planet, the ContraGravity drive is virtually worthless. == History & Background ([[Dossier]]) ==
The second major breakthrough is [[artificial gravity]]. Created by manipulating subatomic forces, artificial gravity is not anti-gravity but is instead a unique force that acts upon the natural gravity field created by all matter. Artificial gravity can be made to either push or pull.
