Thank you. I've started a new game set in the Empty Quarter a little sooner than I expected and writeups are part of that. I'm hoping to direct the players to this web site when they need to look something up - they're very new to Traveller and I'm hoping this will help them with things like what a Vargr is or who the Julian Protectorate are, etc. Frank Mikes

It's not a big deal. I'm being obsessive about it. Here's an idea which may require a slight amount more work on your part, but your players may appreciate it. Add a category for your campaign writeups. Come up with a name for your campign (e.g. Empty Quarter Traders). For each article you feel is important for your campaign (e.g. NPCs, Worlds, bits of tech, etc.) add a category tag like this: [[Category: Empty Quarter Traders]] to the end of the article. This way the can find the most relevant articles fast, without having to wander through 2000+ articles. Unless they want to. Tjoneslo 13:26, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

That's a great idea! I might even steal the name if you don't mind and call them the Empty Quarter Traders. I'm also planning on writing up the adventures I use for them for Stellar Reaches (why not, I've used them so why shouldn't anyone else?) and, again if you don't mind I might include a link to this part of the wiki in the mod. That way other GM's can use this if they fell like it. Frank Mikes

First, Frank, thank you for your many write-ups for the Empty Quarter! The sector does need more fleshing up, and I am glad that someone is on the job. "More hands make less work."

However, a few of your write-ups conflict with previously published information, either Official Canon, or previously written material on the Empty Quarter, as written up in Stellar Reaches.

I will work to preserve as much of your material as possible. In some cases, such as Lazisar, that may be impossible - but I'll give it a try anyways. In any case, it is easy to transpose the material to a different system if absolutely necessary.

To the extent that your work does not conflict with canon (Trav or Stellar Reaches), I'd be happy to let your work stand as is.
