Traveller player since 1981. My personal preference is for Classic Traveller. Although I do like the setting for Gurps: Interstellar Wars and Gurps: Traveller in general, I just don't like the rules too much.

My collection of Traveller stuff is full of odd bits from before TNE. I have most of the TNE stuff but I lost interest with that version very quickly. T4 has two cool supplements Imperial Squadrons and Pocket Empires. Imperial Squadrons is one of my all time favorite supplements and has rules for building a Fifth Frontier War style game for any region of space.

This user prefers Classic Traveller.
