Richard "Doc" Kinne is a Traveller fan and budding contributer.

Description (Biography)

Doc (who picked up the nickname in college) picked up Classic Traveller in 1979. He was a science nerd from the start, and at that date 3 years from going to college for Computer Science and Astronomy. He'd been playing D&D for about a year. Traveller was his second RPG.

Doc loved the ability to create your own universe. He started his own Traveller Universe, but it really never came to anything.

• He loves reading Traveller rulebooks and has read at least the core of Classic Traveller (of course), MegaTraveller, Traveller The New Era, GURPS Traveller, GURPS Traveller: Interstellar Wars, Marc Miller's Traveller, and Mongoose Traveller 1st Edition.

• He has yet to really delve into Mongoose Traveller 2nd Edition, but he knows he has to.

• His favorite alien race are the Hivers.

• His favorite ship is a toss-up between the Scout/Courier and the Lavalier class Laboratory Ship.
