A long-time Traveller player (I started with JTAS #3), referee, and, of course, "home-game" player. I was making ships with deckplans, my own sectors, and the stable of NPCs with CT from the very beginning. My introduction to Traveller and my love of SF in general are almost "chicken and egg", as I cut my SF teeth on many of the same books and movies that inspired GDW.

Starting with the GEnie online service, I started to take part in the larger Traveller community, joined HIWG as a Sector Analyst, joined the very young TML, and contributed in my small way to (late) MT and (early) TNE. I would later do the same for T20.

The hardware that is distinctly Traveller remains my primary interest, however. That's why I do deckplans.
