Link title I am 55 (dob 11/17/53), male, living in Tampa Bay. I am a long time science and science fiction fan, and long time Classic Traveller player. IMTU things are carefully thought out, and real world is studied for similar examples and principles when possible. I then drop intresting things on players with no immediate explaination so they have to dig if they give a hairy rat's tail about understanding something. As an admirer of the logical and complex stories of Larry Niven, and the Imperial thinking of Jerry Pournelle, I tend to present a universe which is very imperfect, very functional, and not particularly awful- or nice. However, it is a good place to make a mint, go broke, get dead, or have one hell of a time. Good, bad, or merely terrifying, but at least you'll know you're living due to the heavy pounding in your chest.

The empire is a bit more vital IMTU due to the presence of an additional starfaring race, which is both agressive and carniverous and slaveholding- and some deep history I ain't tellin' about.
