A sophont species native to Gapinrot (Kidunal 0208), members of the Hive Federation. Relatively new members, they are still somewhat xenophobic, and are in the process of being eased into the wider Federation's cosmopolitan ethos.
7 million Urpurret live on Gapinrot. They have a loose participatory democracy.
Urpurret are adapted to atmospheric conditions that are toxic to Hivers and Humans.
