Trade Jacket

While merchant captains have always designed colorful shoulder patches to enhance their otherwise plain coveralls and flight jackets, a custom/fad has developed on The Network using very large, distinctive patches.

Worn on the back of flight jackets, the large trade patch features the name, registration number and function (also sometimes the owner's name or an advertising slogan) of the crewmember's ship.
