Thran class 8x8 Prime Mover

The military units of Thran (world) use the locally built Thran class 8x8 Amphibious Wheeled Truck/Prime Mover (TECH LEVEL 6)

They can be used to move infantry in motorized rifle battalions and to tow artillery pieces for the artillery batteries. They can be converted into a host of other functions from carrying field kitchens, ambulance, workshop, supply haulers and others.

The vehicle has a crew of 2 (driver, gunner/commander) and can carry 12 passengers. It carries an unstabilized HMG pintel mounted on the chassis deck.
