Tapax

A sophont species native to Ricenden Sector, in the process of incorporation to the Hive Federation.

As with many races in Hive Federation space, the species and its homeworld (Ricenden 3138) are designated with the same Gurvin label.

The Tapax sophonts today boast 7,000,000 on Uttarex (Ricenden 3137) and 3,000,000 on Tapax itself. Not yet fully integrated into the Hive Federation, they are still considered a "yearling" society and are monitored by the Federation military.
