YKIUH.

• Extinct arthopodic major race whose remains are founded scattered through the spinward Beyond & the trailing/rimward Vanguard Reaches (circa -23000 to -10000 TI). A highly cultured race, they seemed to have disappeared abruptly after reaching at least TL-16 with no sign of war or mass destruction. Some written documents survive but are undecipherable, leaving scientists & historians with a major enigma.
