Notes (2019)[edit]

For those wishing a slightly less "Pseudo-Science" Dean Space Drive concept, an alternative might be to combine the Dean Converter concept in some way with a conjectural future Grand Unified Nuclear Force Theory lying behind the operation of the MT:DGP version of the Thruster Plate. Perhaps with advanced understanding of nuclear forces and multidimensional space-time/hyperspaces, it is possible to inter-convert Angular Momentum and Linear Momentum on the Subatomic/High-Energy Physics level via a deeper understanding of the unification of the nuclear forces with the rest of N-Dimensional Spacetime topology. Perhaps angular momentum produced at the nanoscale has a counter-reaction that is compensated in the hyperspace realm in return for linear momentum derived from the hyperspace realm produced in the N-Space domain as a counter-reaction.

Norman Dean in some cases in the 1960s-1970s (or perhaps some of those trying to reproduce or follow his work) just accidentally reproduced the Thruster effect in certain configurations of his device without really having the science to understand the true principals behind the effect; hence, nobody in his day was able to successfully or consistently replicate the effect.
