Novel: Traveller 5th Edition Agent of the Imperium
- Aliens. Sophonts. Tripods with striped skins and booming voices. Rens introduced them and their names washed over me: Boorn, Truul, Flaal, Flink, and others. Our new destination was Othsekuu in Lishun: the tripods’ homeworld.
- Their true species name is Threep. It is uncountable. One of them is Threep. Many of them together are Threep. Tripod is technically a perjorative, although its been used for so long that they usually don’t take offense.
