Notes (2019)[edit]
There is a canonical conflict between GT:Nobles and CT:Sup 11 Library Data (N-Z) (LDNZ). LDNZ implied that the OSC (along with the OEG) were the two most common orders within the Imperium, whereas GT:N implies that the OSC is fairly exclusive, with only about 200 members, all of a single rank ("Knight"), and ranked solely by date of elevation - much like the modern Order of the Garter and Order of the Thistle in the United Kingdom). Someone has also made the claim that there is a reference somewhere to the Matriarch/Duchess of Mora being elevated from Companion to Knight of the OSC, and that the article also states that there are very few of the "Knight" rank, but I have been unable to locate or confirm this reference.

- Perhaps "The makeup of the Order has changed somewhat over the years, growing into a large Order in the years leading up to the Civil War, then having much of its upper echelons stripped away by the Civil War and not replaced by Arbellatra. While the Order retains the honor of its heyday and still has a relatively large membership in Strephon's reign, it no longer approaches the size of the OEG."
