• Note that in the original Paranoia Press 1981 publication and Don McKinney's 2015 T5SS Updates, the Kajaani Triumvirate lies in Subsector L of the Vanguard Reaches and is a "sub-polity" of the Comsentient Alliance, many of whose members are either other sub-polities or independent member worlds.

• In the 1991 Online Updates of Vanguard Reaches Sector, Kajaani Subsector (formerly Subsector L /Vanguard Reaches) was moved to Subsector O /Far Frontiers, and became a part of the Trelyn Domain. The "Triumvirate" is no longer called such but is rather a substantive County within the Grand Duchy and also gives its name to an Order of Knighthood within the Grand Duchy.
