During the Rule of Man and the Long Night, there were very few societies with Jump-3 capabilities, and even fewer with Jump-4 or better. It seems unlikely that the Terrans would have Jump-6 vessels during that era, but since these sectors are non-canon, i suppose there might be some way to come up with a clever work-around explanation. Perhaps rather than true Jump-6 their vessels instead had Jump-3 with extra fuel tanks, or some other modifications. (Just my silly opinions, i'm sure there are plenty of non-canon ways to accomodate these tales.) KevinHutchins (talk) 12:21, 5 November 2023 (EST)

Glad to have you around to correct things. I don't want to be so out of sync that it's stupid. Reading the Jump Drive page, J-3 was available in Terra in -2250 or so, so EM315 is 300 years later - enough to move to J-4? Maybe not. That's cool, this all works with J-3 as well as J-6. Not like I am going to plot each jump in the journey. I'll drop it to J-3.
