The Darrian Timeline Chart on CT: AM 7 Darrains page 26 does not appear to be supported by the text in the History of the Darrian People pages 6 to 14.

In the Timeline chart the text that goes with dates -300,000 and -1,490 are different from the information in the History of the Darrian People.

Dates in question: D1. -300,000 Ancients transport Terran humans to Darrian. D2. -300,000 Final War destroyed Ancient Bases on Darrian. D3. -1,410 Darrian begins space exploration.

D1 and D2 appear to be covered in the section titled The Orchards page 6.

The first paragraph 4th sentence column 2 on page 6 states ”Within a few years of their arrival on Darrian, the local human population had outgrown their small camp, and Onsorik created five new communities, one in each of the basins on Darrian.”

The last paragraph, spanning page 6 and 7, in The Orchards states ”The five communities, named Boyr, Zlodh, Nyadh, Rimb, and Abh, were established shortly before the Ancient War began. Being effectively indistinguishable from the native forrest, the Darrians escaped the bombings and planetary devastation that were characteristicof the Ancients fighting."

If the Ancients transported the Terran humans to Darrian in -300,000 to a central camp which was moved to the 5 basins in a few years because they out grew the first location shortly before the Final War came to Darrian means that either:

1. The Ancients transported the Terran humans a few years prior to -300,000 and the Final War occurred in the Darrian system as stated.

2. The Terran humans arrived in -300,000 and the Final War occurred a few years later.

D2 states that the Ancient bases on Darrian were destroyed which does not, at least to me, appear to have happened based on the last paragraph stating that the Darrians escaped the characteristic bombing and planetary devastation associated with Ancient fighting.

D3. -1,410 Darrian begins space exploration is not supported by the information found in The Coming of the Solomani, The Darrian Explosion, and Darrian Explorations on page 8 and 9. I've created a timeline based on the text in the three headers listed in the previous sentence.

The Coming of the Solomani -1513 The Itzin fleet sets up a temporary base on what in now Sacnoth for fast survey of the sector. The Fleet leadership selected Darrian from several possible worlds.

-1511 The Itzin fleet makes first contact with the Rimb Basin from a secret base in the high mountains.

The Darrian Explosion -1411? ”The assimilation of the Solomani by the Darrians took about one hundred years.”

Darrian Explorations -1510? Itzin Fleet mothballed in orbit

-1400 ”the Solomani of the Itzin fleet had been effectively absorbed into the mainstream of Darrian society. All major leadership positions were now filled by individuals born on Darrian. They rescind the executive decision to mothball the fleet and not use or share the ships. An expedition from the secert base finds that 110 years on unmaintianed storage in orbit had made all the ships inoperable. (-1400 - 110 = -1510) Darrian industry had first working desing built in 10 years (-1390) and a fleet in 30 years (-1370).”

-1410 Darrian begins space exploration. Timeline Chart -1395 to 1370 Initial exploration limited to Jump-1 range of first starships -1390? First working starship design -1370? Fleet of exploration starships (Jump-2 and a few Jump2) have mapped a radius of 20 parsecs.

The above timeline also causes a problem with the date -1395 in the Darrian Explorations section. Can someone confirm my data?
