Part of the Descarothe Hegemony in Uldor's Reach. A monostellar star system with a total of twelve worlds, no planetoid belts and four gas giants.
A colony of Desaekhe (FarF 1734); along with Qarant (FarF 1833) and Iraaz (FarF 1732), Dansen was conquered by the Descarothe Hegemony in an expansionistic phase circa 1103.
Dansen is an agricultural world with an ideal environment for producing food from plants, animals, or other forms. The D-class StarPort only supports the attached exploration base with readily available consumable goods (primarily frozen or dehydrated food stuff). The StarPort is capable of handling explorer personnel and exploratory starships, although there is extremely limited repairs capability based on imported parts.
The system has a population nearly one million sophonts with a heavy concentration related to the agriculture of the planet. Less than 1,000 are related to support for interstellar traffic. This world is designated an Amber Zone with an environment and customs that make it dangerous to visitors. The legal system imposed by the colonial government is also very restrictive in terms of dealing with the populace as well as Travellers.
