Samuel Dillon

Circa 1103 House Dillon is led by the senior member of the family, Samuel Dillon. Dillon was elevated to Viscount in 1002 after the tragic death of his older sister Miranda. She was sitting Viscount Alell when her yacht Zandra was attacked by pirates. During the assault her younger brother took up arms against the boarding party and fought them off. Unfortunately, his entire crew died in the attack and the fleeing pirates took Miranda captive. They were never seen again, and Miranda was declared dead, opening the position of Viscount to be granted to her brother Samuel.

Miranda was beloved by her subjects and considered a popular servant leader and her death has created a cultural impact of long-term mourning. The loss of Miranda has generated a significant genre of conspiracy theories and Samuel has always had a cloud of suspicion hanging over his reign.
