Koenig (The Beyond 1231) was the site of the bloodiest Ihatei-Human fighting of the war. In fact, the "ihatei" were little more than the frontline militaries of a half dozen allied clans. Coordination problems and miscommunication caused the alliance to crumble, and the Nakris military exploited the divisions, keeping them at bay despite their inferior equipment, until a Corellian relief force arrived after the Battle of Vontz. Some the Aslan were permitted to keep their seized territory, but this is seen as an expedience by both sides, and tensions between the humans and Aslan remain high.
