Hidden Facility[edit]
There is a long frozen-over Ancient research facility in the glacier at the trailing twilight point.
It is the original source of Ice-9 on this world, as it was developed here. The researchers at the time almost immediately lost control of the original sample, resulting in a world-wide calamity.
The facility contains a dormant power system and several dormant black globe-based defenses.
It is buried under at least one kilometer of Ice-9.
