Henry MacArthur, eldest son of Paul MacArthur, Duke of Saylesborough, and Laurie Macarthur.
With the turbulence caused by the fast turnover among William, Simon and Michael, the next MacArthur in direct line for the throne - Simon's son Morris - was only a toddler when he came in line for the throne.
As part of a negotiated solution, the throne was turned over to Bruce III's nephew, Henry MacArthur, until Morris was ready for the throne.
While Henry was a caretaker, his reign of 14 years was eventful; it was in 272 that Caledonian colonists formally claimed Cuillin, which grew to serve as the population center of the Principality.
Henry stepped down from the throne in 280, handing the throne over to his nephew once removed,, Morris II.
He had two daughters - the youngest of whom, Sarah MacArthur, became the Royal Caledonian Navy's first female Admiral.
